Recently, the first composite cooling superconducting magnet system integrating conductive cooling and helium circulation technology developed by CSSC PRIDe (Nanjing) Cryogenic Technology Co., Ltd. has passed acceptance and been delivered. The project, spanning six months from initiation to completion, not only met the deadline but also earned high praise from the client for its outstanding technical performance and execution standards. This achievement marks a significant breakthrough in the company’s high-temperature superconducting magnet cooling technology, further solidifying its leading position in the industry.
The cooling system significantly reduces heat exchange losses in low-temperature end heat exchangers by optimizing multi-stage regenerative processes, while enabling precise control of circulation pressure and flow rates. Leveraging the strengths of both conductive cooling and helium circulation technologies, the design incorporates liquid nitrogen as the front-stage pre-cooling medium and utilizes multiple high-performance GM Cryocoolers to provide cooling power. All core components are independently developed and controllable, ensuring system stability and reliability. Additionally, the system supports customizable requirements for multiple temperature ranges, loads, and operating environments, offering flexible adaptation to diverse application scenarios.
As a cutting-edge technology, this cooling system and its derivative solutions have been widely applied in superconducting magnets, superconducting motors, and high-precision testing platforms. Its efficient and reliable performance lays a robust foundation for advancing the broad adoption of superconducting technology in energy, healthcare, scientific research, and other fields.
With years of dedicated efforts in superconducting cooling technology, the company has accumulated extensive design and manufacturing expertise as well as technical reserves. The successful acceptance of this project not only highlights its capabilities in R&D and project management but also provides valuable experience for future projects with greater complexity and higher demands.
Moving forward, CSSC PRIDe (Nanjing) Cryogenic Technology Co., Ltd. will continue to increase R&D investment, explore new technologies and processes, and remain committed to delivering superior products and services to clients, driving technological progress and industry development.
